Mauritius’s multifaceted tourism offerings, from luxury resorts to immersive cultural experiences.

Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) actively participated in the South Asia Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2025, held from February 19 to 21 at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi. This strategic engagement aimed to strengthen Mauritius’s presence in the Indian tourism market and foster robust collaborations with Indian travel professionals. Air Mauritius operates nonstop flights from Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai.

The MTPA pavilion attracted approximately 450 visitors, including tour operators, travel agents, media representatives, and other industry stakeholders. The pavilion featured 12 select partners, encompassing Air Mauritius, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and hotel representatives. This diverse representation provided visitors with comprehensive insights into Mauritius’s multifaceted tourism offerings, from luxury resorts to immersive cultural experiences.

Ms. Zeenat Gangee, Tourism Promotion Manager at MTPA, expressed satisfaction with the event’s outcomes, stating, “SATTE 2025 has been an incredible opportunity for us to deepen our engagement with the Indian market. The visitors’ interest and intrigue towards Mauritius’s breathtaking landscapes, luxury resorts, and immersive experiences were palpable throughout the event.”

MTPA’s participation in SATTE 2025 aligns with its broader strategy to expand its footprint across India. The authority is committed to enhancing awareness of Mauritius as a versatile tourism destination that caters to various traveler preferences, including luxury holidays, weddings, and family getaways. This initiative reflects a concerted effort to position Mauritius as a preferred choice for Indian travelers seeking diverse experiences.
