जानकारी के मुताबिक 2023 का मानसून सत्र 17 जुलाई से शुरू हो सकता है. सत्र के 10 जुलाई तक चलने की संभावना है. संसद का मानसून सत्र हर साल लगभग जुलाई में भी शुरू होता है. बीते साल 2022 में संसद का मानसून सत्र 18 जुलाई को शुरू हुआ था.
मॉनसून सत्र की एक खासियत यह भी होगी कि नए संसद भवन में होने जा रहा ये पहला सत्र होगा. नया संसद भवन इसकी मेजबानी के लिए तैयार है. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने बीती 28 मई को संसद के नए भवन का उद्घाटन किया था. सेंट्रल विस्टा प्रोजेक्ट के तहत इस भवन का निर्माण किया गया है. नए संसद भवन में सभी मंत्रियों को अलग ऑफिस मिलेंगे, जबकि पुराने भवन में केवल 30 कैबिनेट मंत्रियों और कुछ राज्यमंत्रियों को ही ऑफिस मिले थे. इसके साथ ही नए भवन में सभी राजनीतिक पार्टियों को कार्यालय भी दिए जाएंगे.
संसद का मानसून सत्र (Parliament Monsoon Session 2023) एक मामले में ऐतिहासिक होने वाला है. मानसून सेशन संसद की नई बिल्डिंग में होने वाला है. हालांकि सूत्रों के मुताबिक, मानसून सत्र की शुरुआत पुराने संसद भवन में होगी और बाद में नये संसद भवन में बैठक हो सकती हैं. संसद के नये भवन (New Parliament Building) का उद्घाटन प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी (Narendra Modi) ने 28 मई को किया था.
संसद के मानसून सत्र में कई अहम बिल पारित हो सकते हैं. इसमें राष्ट्रीय वित्तीय सूचना रजिस्ट्री (National Financial Information Registry), डिजिटल व्यक्तिगत डेटा संरक्षण विधेयक (Digital Personal Data Protection Bill), दिवाला और दिवालियापन संहिता – संशोधन बिल (Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) बिल कानून की शक्ल ले सकते हैं. इसके साथ ही संसद में ऑफशोर माइनिंग के लिए MMDR में संशोधन बिल भी आ सकता है.
