पुणे: महाराष्ट्र के महत्वपूर्ण औद्योगिक शहर पिंपरी-चिंचवाड़ में अजीत पवार के नेतृत्व वाले राष्ट्रवादी कांग्रेस पार्टी (एनसीपी) गुट को बड़ा झटका लगा है, जब इसके शहर इकाई के प्रमुख अजीत गव्हाने और 20 पूर्व पार्षदों सहित 24 अन्य नेता शरद पवार के नेतृत्व वाली एनसीपी में शामिल हो गए। गव्हाने ने कहा, “हम सभी शरद पवार की पार्टी में शामिल हुए हैं, क्योंकि हमारा मानना है कि पिंपरी-चिंचवाड़ और शेष महाराष्ट्र को आगे ले जाने वाली एकमात्र पार्टी एनसीपी (एसपी)
है।” यह दलबदल ऐसे महत्वपूर्ण मोड़ पर हुआ है, जब विधानसभा चुनाव नजदीक हैं। मंगलवार को गव्हाने के साथ राहुल भोसले, यश साने और पंकज भालेकर ने अपने इस्तीफे दे दिए। गव्हाने ने कहा, “हम शरद पवार का आशीर्वाद लेंगे, भले ही किसी भी पार्टी में शामिल होने का हमारा फैसला अभी नहीं हुआ है।” उन्होंने भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) पर औद्योगिक शहर के विकास में बाधा डालने का आरोप लगाया और कहा, “जबकि अजीत पवार ने पहले पिंपरी-चिंचवाड़ का विकास किया था, लेकिन उन्होंने विकास में कोई बाधा नहीं डाली। पिंपरी-चिंचवाड़ को लंबे समय से अजीत पवार का गढ़ माना जाता है, जहां पिछले तीन दशकों से स्थानीय राजनीति में उनका प्रभाव रहा है। 2017 तक उनकी पार्टी (तब अविभाजित एनसीपी) ने नगर निकाय को नियंत्रित किया था। इन चार सदस्यों के जाने से क्षेत्र में अजीत पवार के गुट से दलबदल की लहर शुरू हो सकती है।
