The cops seized a bag from the women, who are residents of the Kamgar Putala slum. The police said the bag contained nine laser pipes and three steel rods used for Metro work. They said the women allegedly stole the material worth Rs 14,100 from the Metro project site.

Nitin Kokane, 26, a security guard at the site, lodged an FIR in this case at the Chaturshringi police station Saturday.
Three women moving suspiciously at the spot in the wee hours of Saturday. So, he informed the Quick Response Team (QRT) of the Metro project. The QRT reached the spot and nabbed the women. The women were taken to the police station for further investigation.
