During the function held at Shivajinagar police headquarters, CM Fadnavis also inaugurated an AI-enabled “Integrated Command and Control Centre” (ICCC), an Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS), surveillance drones, and mobile surveillance vans .
Operational Teething Issues Affecting Residents
A recent report highlighted that residents in rapidly developing areas—Ambegaon, Nanded City, Baner, Kharadi, Wagholi, Kalepadal, and Phursungi—are facing difficulties with online tenancy registrations. The newly established seven police stations in those areas haven’t yet been integrated into the e-registration portal, causing mapping discrepancies and potential legal hurdles .
