New Delhi/Chandigarh, June 15 – Senior Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala on Saturday alleged serious irregularities in the recently held Assistant Professor recruitment examination conducted by the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC).
Speaking at a press conference in Delhi, Surjewala demanded the immediate dissolution of the HPSC and called for a judicial probe into the examination process, particularly concerning the question papers. He claimed that widespread anomalies have surfaced, raising serious concerns over the integrity of the recruitment process.
“The HPSC must be disbanded. The entire process related to the question papers in the Assistant Professor recruitment exam must be subjected to judicial scrutiny. Fresh exams should be conducted, and strict action should be taken against all officials found guilty,” Surjewala asserted.
This comes amid growing outrage among aspirants and political leaders who allege unfair practices and lack of transparency in the selection process. The Congress has demanded accountability and reforms to restore public faith in the state’s recruitment system.
