Nitish Kumar is expected to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar on either November 19 or 20, sources within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) say.
The date for the oath-taking ceremony has not been officially confirmed yet, with finalization reportedly dependent on the availability of senior leadership. Preparations are underway, and the event could be held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
The NDA secured a dominant majority in the recent state assembly election, paving the way for Kumar’s return as CM. Party leaders also indicate that the new cabinet might include 30 to 32 ministers, with representation not only from JD(U) and BJP but also from allied parties like the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), and the Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal (RLJD).
The swearing-in is being closely watched, as it marks the beginning of what could be a significant new chapter in Bihar’s political landscape.
