Home Minister Amit Shah took a direct jab at AAP and its leader Arvind Kejriwal, stating that the people of Delhi had “taught a lesson to those who break promises.” He criticized the former CM for alleged corruption and mismanagement, saying the election result “sets an example for those who make false promises.”
AAP’s Collapse: Kejriwal Loses His Own Seat
One of the biggest shocks of the election came when Delhi’s outgoing Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, lost his New Delhi Assembly seat to BJP’s Parvesh Verma.
