The TDP‑led Andhra Pradesh government has launched the Talliki Vandanam welfare scheme for the 2025‑26 academic year .
It provides ₹15,000 per school-going child per year, from Class 1 through Intermediate (Class 12)—no limit on number of children per family .67.27 lakh students are covered across both government and private schools/junior colleges .The scheme benefits 43 lakh mothers/guardians .Funds are disbursed via Direct Benefit Transfer into Aadhaar-linked bank accounts of mothers, or guardians/fathers if needed; for orphans, payments go through District Collectors .
The TDP-led NDA government in Andhra Pradesh has initiated the ‘Talliki Vandanam’ scheme, providing Rs 15,000 annually per school-going child to eligible households. The scheme applies from Class 1 to intermediate, regardless of the number of children in a family.
This initiative is part of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s ‘Super Six’ welfare promises made during the 2024 elections. As per government orders, the scheme is aimed at empowering mothers and guardians through direct financial assistance.
First phase: Coverage of children in Classes 2–10; payments began June 12, continuing through July 5, 2025 .

Second phase: Includes newly joined Class 1 and Intermediate students; grievance redressal open till June 20, followed by fund distribution on July 7 .Specific payment date for new entrants (Class 1 & Intermediate) is July 5 .
