While Gaurav gifts Baani a high-end mobile phone, her tech-savvy father (Ashutosh Rana), who’s obsessed with the Sanskrit language and Indian traditions, spies on his daughter and finds out about her relationship. He calls Gaurav to meet him and puts a condition to swap their phones post which he would decide the groom for his daughter to marry, which sets the stage for unexpected revelations.

The film bestows a fresh storyline and an intriguing chemistry between Junaid and Khushi, who make a cute couple on screen. As a debutant, Junaid Khan has certainly made an effortless theatrical debut in Loveyappa after his OTT release Maharaj, while he brings both charm and depth to the role. While Khushi Kapoor who made her OTT debut with The Archies, brings a freshness to the screen in the film.

The film is directed well and is shot most naturally, as anyone can resonate with the romance between the Gen Z youngsters of every Indian household. Despite being a romantic film, the film is indeed made with a traditional thought depicting true love rather than lust, as mostly depicted in modern-day films. The film is a complete family entertainer, as even the intimate moments are loaded with cuteness, as Baani blushes covering her lips in shyness, when Gaurav wants to steal a kiss.

Both Gaurav and Baani bring a youthful energy onto screen, complemented by a humorous take on the complexities of relationships, friendships and parenthood, while the film breaks the illusion of the perfect romance. The film portrays well Gen-Z being obsessed with their phones, online trolling, deepfakes, and body shaming. It is a realistic take on the times when options are available, from food to swiping partners left and right, then how can one expect to find true love and loyalty?

The film takes Gaurav and Baani on a roller coaster ride of mutual exploration, emotion, betrayal, separation and then reunion, establishing finally the importance of true love and loyalty represented by the one who stands by the other in the toughest time!

Overall, it is a must-watch film, loaded not only with fun but some words of wisdom too. A complete family entertainer, especially for youngsters which releases in theatres on 7th February on the occasion of Rose Day.
