Bund Garden Police arrested an armed suspect during a late-night crime prevention patrol in Pune, averting a possible incident.
According to officials, the police team was conducting routine checks in the Bund Garden area when they noticed suspicious movement. Upon interception, the suspect was found carrying a weapon. He was immediately taken into custody.
Police said the accused is being interrogated to determine his intentions and whether he is linked to any larger criminal network. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
