Jamshedpur: A massive fire broke out at Bhikhari Maidan in the Bagbera police station area of Jamshedpur on Friday afternoon. The flames quickly spread, engulfing shops in the vicinity. The fire grew so intense that it could be seen from a distance. Local residents attempted to control the blaze, but it continued to spread rapidly.
Upon receiving the information, the Jharkhand Fire Department rushed to the scene, accompanied by the police. Two fire engines arrived shortly after and, after a rigorous effort, managed to bring the fire under control. However, the exact cause of the fire remains unknown.
Around 25 shops were completely gutted in the incident. According to reports, these shops were located on railway land. The police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
