With this, Jadung becomes the first of the five villages that will be rehabilitated, and will also be created into a sustainable tourism destination for trekking, astro tourism, nature camps, hiking, and more. As per the reports, most of Jadung\u2019s inhabitants were displaced during the Indo-China War.<\/p>\n
Shri Satpal Maharaj, Minister of Tourism, Irrigation, Culture, PWD, Government of Uttarakhand,stated that they are delighted to announce Jadung as Uttarakhand\u2019s latest tourism destination, which will offer great opportunity to visitors to experience the unique culture and beauty of Uttarakhand.<\/p>\n
UTDB\u2019s involvement in this initiative will help encourage sustainable tourism practices in the region, and will also lead to the conservation of the local environment, culture and community.<\/p>\n
